Title: Giallo prototipo, Canary yellow, Giallo Pagoda
Post by: Vogster on November 13, 2025, 12:05:47 PM
Hello fellow Alfisti - new to this group and seeking your kind knowledge.
I am looking to purchase a series 2 , 1970s spider.  I have noticed on line many photos of spider yellows - some pale yellow, some of the more bright/ greenish tinge yellow.  I know it is difficult to get an accurate representation from photos online - but there seems to be a couple of variants.  Along with this there are various names Giallo Pagoda, Canary yellow, Giallo prototipo the 3 most common.  However they all seem to reference paint code AR119.  Am i missing something here? - are these three colours names all one in the same ( variation of name in different countries perhaps?) - or are there a couple of different yellows used? - my question i suppose is more to Australian delivered 70's spiders.  Thanks in advance!

Its Giallo Prototipo....punto e basta.
Ignore the other names -  christened by ignorant uneducated people that couldn't be bothered to find out .....and the English .
