What are your wheel alignment settings?
I'll get mine done again soon and want to know what I should ask.
Loads of inside tyre wear, especially on the rear tyres. Quite serious actually.
I understand that the factory settings were never that good.
Bob Jane in Geelong have always been great but I know there were curious about this 159 issue too. We both agreed that it was a common problem with the 159s.
Any tips here moving forward?

He set up my 159 Q4. Tyre wear was never an issue - however it did have urethane bushes throughout and front-end camber / caster adjustment.
Not sure if the 159 rear is adjustable for camber. Insider rear tyre wear possibly too much rear toe out or sagged/cracked rear spring/s or both?

Can you translate? Certainly the rear wheels, after being aligned, are still not correct. Any thoughts on what perhaps they should say?

I've had mine since 2008, the 18" rim size was less common then and the tyres were over x $400 each. It was frustrating. As the car ages the problem gets worse. Eventually I opted for the poly bushes. A noticeable improvement in handling straight away also. The downside is the squeaking you'll hear, mainly when the car is hot, or in the summer months. Mostly on speed humps. You need to get them greased to alleviate this, with the correct product too I might add. I don't do that many k's on mine, it's not a daily drive, so the bushes don't require much maintenance. Problem fixed. I take my car to Heasmans in Sydney and I have no issues. I also run Bilstein shocks on mine. When the car was new, it handled very well for what it is. Once it got to around 80k on the clock, I could feel the change. The Bilsteins brought it back to how it felt when new

Try copper-based anti-seize on the poly bushes. Very effective on my 159 Q4 that had poly bushes throughout.
Important to use a non-petroleum based anti-seize though.
