Title: Resetting service reminders, etc
Post by: OldAlfisto on March 26, 2025, 12:29:20 PM
After a service on my 22 Guilia, various messages re changing the oil, when the next service is due, etc keep appearing until something is reset. Official dealers can presumably do this but not independent operators like the one that does my service. Does anyone know how to do this?

Can only be done by someone who has the correct diagnostic software that will connect to the online Alfa Server to reset the settings, it is because of the SGW (Security Gateway) device fitted to all models of Alfa since 2018. You can also have it done if someone has a SGW bypass adapter, this will allow them to use the older non networked Alfa diagnostic software.

And yes, it is a pain in the ass.

Where in NSW are you located?
