Title: Searching for past history of an Alfa 33
Post by: davelim8850 on November 08, 2024, 09:05:27 PM
I am doing a nationwide search for past registration information of an Alfa 33 QV (905)  registered in 1986 that I bought in VIC.

VIcRoads records arent coming up with anything and 1986 is too new for the AOMC database that runs up to 1984 only. The VIN of this car is ZAR905A2005190309 and was probably last registered to a John Gregory Conway of Burwood, VIC ( deceased since 2020/21). I bought this car unregistered from a chap in VIC who had in turn bought in unregistered as well from Conway some 15-16 years ago.  I was wondering if this information can reveal if the car was ever on club records in an Australian state like NSW and then moved across borders sometime in the past. Thanks

Thanks

Dave, hi.
I can't help with your specific request but I assume that due to privacy laws, places like VicRoads or RMS in NSW won't give you details of previous owners if you have the old registration number?
