Title: GTV ELECTRC WINDOWS

I have a 2004 GTV , the electric windows are jammed , there is a clicking noise from the door.
The dealer has no idea .
Can any one help on getting it fixed

Hi Easo,

Where in the country are you?

I would say from my experience with electric windows that one of the gears has lost a tooth.  They are probably plastic and will strip if the window gets jammed some way.

When you say that the dealer has no idea, have you actually taken it to a dealer or a mechanic?

I'm sure a dealer would have some idea.

Or possibly the nuts and bolts holding the motor or other parts of the winding mechanism in the door have worked loose, or a part of the winding mechanism is slightly misaligned. A good indication is if the window floats slightly when moved horizontally or from front to back in its door slot (don't try to move it vertically).
