Would appreciate any advice regarding tyres for an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce 1.7 – 2018
The car has been wearing - PIRELLI CINTURATO P7 ECOIMPACT 225/40 R18 92W – since new
I should like to replace them with the same 'but simply can't find them for sale'. Has any member encountered the same problem? If so, is there an equivalent tyre? Should like to stay with Pirelli preferably.

I've run several sets of Michelin PS4's on my GQV over the last 100K km. I stick with the same because they're the best tyre (confidence wet/dry, grip, quiet, ride) i've ever used in Aust (QLD) conditions.
The Pirelli P7 is more a touring tyre. Depending on your preferences you could look at the Pirelli PZero or the Michelin PS4. I found the PZero on special when I was shopping for tyres and am very happy with them.

My reason for attempting to buy the same tyre was simply that the car came with them. My knowledge and experience is limited to say the least.

Any chance of the exact product numbers since, as mentioned, I am pretty unexperienced regarding such things. Not helpless - but I have found a retail tyre outlet will suggest only what they stock.
Just go by the tyre size, load and speed rating as per the tyre placard on your car and check prices online. I usually find tyresales, Jax, Tempe Tyres and Tyroola pretty competitive.
I would get Michelin rather than Pirelli
As an alternative, for a good quality but slightly cheaper option (and probably longer lasting than Michelin or Pirelli) for normal wet/dry daily road use (I've never tracked any of my cars), I usually fit Continental MC6s.
Just fitted Pirelli Cinturato Rosso from Tyrepower to my wife's Giulietta Veloce 2018. Seems much better than the OEM Dunlop SP Sport Maxx that came with the car from new.
