Title: LHD 76 Spider Need Acseleraor pedal and Linkage info
Post by: Martyn on June 15, 2022, 06:28:48 PM
I am doing a full resto on a USA 2L (carburettor) spider and retaining it in LHD but in all the boxes of bits it came with ( believe me there were many) I cannot find the accelerator pedal and linkage for this LHD.
Can anyone put me out of my misery by:
1. Have photos of linkage in engine bay or parts diagram to share.?
2. Have a spare to sell?

All help appreciated
Cheers
Martyn

'76 US 2 litre cars were SPICA, plenty of conversions to carbs but not factory.

Hence I stated carburettor. So as to get a response on that.

What about the Rapido parts catalogue?  Doesn't it cover post '69 LHD non-US spiders?   Plenty of them around with carbs, as I recall the 1.6 spiders in Europe used carbs all the way through to end of production.

Edit - found this as well.  Maybe more of a help.  Of course sadly papajam is no longer with us but his legacy survives:

Yes I read this too on alfabb . So it gave me the idea to look up OKP parts in Germany . The sell the car by throttle link ! Only been available from March 2022. So problem solved.
Thanks for your help.👍👍

Yep sad about Papajam passing
