Title: 105 restoration recommendations
Post by: Clive Minchin on April 26, 2022, 10:30:52 PM
hi I have a 1973 105 Guilia and am keen to get the interior redone and have it repainted. Mechanically, she's in good order so it's more about the paints and interior. Has anyone got any recommendations of suitable panel/restoration firms in Melbourne? How far have people gone with similar projects? Has any one hot dipped? I'd like a quality paint job etc but not trying to achieve concourse perfection due to my budget!

This is a "how long is this piece of string" question.

What is your budget?
What skills/space/time are you bringing
What says your significant other

Rust: what's been fixed properly prior that you can document, what's obvious (you can see it), what's unknown (under paint but a known problem areas; inner sills, windscreen surround, lower rad cross member, inner rear arches, etc...)

Now, double your budget :)
