Merry Christmas! As a holiday thread, how many alfas do you have to own or have owned before you are considered an alfaholic?
I reckon around 6 to 7.
Also what's some of the records on here in terms of alfas owned?
Nooo, I'm only up to 4, but they are the last 4 cars I've bought.
I reckon you only need one to make everything else irrelevant. Usually Latin based, highly unpredictable although always up for it, anywhere, leaving you laughing or crying and wondering wtf... that's the link, that's why they're special.
I've had ten in 35years.
One was always a daily driver (ie. my main car).
'72 Sud (4dr - started it all)
'76 Sud (Ti - tinroofrusty)
'83 Sprint Veloce (wow)
'88 Sprint QV (wow)
'66 Duetto (keeper)
'03 156 Sportwagon 1.9JTD (Sooty - multi continent family and ring warrior)
'82 Alfetta (the Blue meanie - Shitb#x rally)
'04 156 Sedan v6 Qtronic (parts - boring)
'73 1600 GT Junior (really don't like 105 coupes, sorry)
'11 Giulietta QV (wow)
Chasing a preloved loved Misano Blu Stelvio Ti
I have always had at least one Alfa (currently3) in my driveway for the last 46 years
Alfas are like underpants. Life is just not the same without them.
The progressive fleet:-
76 Berlina 2L
69 Giulia Super 2L
82 Alfetta GTV 2.0 (two of)
83 Alfetta GTV 3.0 V6
84 Alfetta Sedan Twin Spark Racer
78 Alfetta GTV Supercharged Twin Spark Racer
90 75 Sedan 1.8L Supercharged Racer
If I had to pick a favourite, it would have to be my tricked up Super. Huge lament for moving it on.
When on the track it is always wise to wear a double pair for safety.. ;D
I think one can be considered an Alfaholic having owned zero Alfas (in the same way I'm sure I've always been heterosexual, even prior to my first romantic encounter..... ;D)
I was absolutely Alfa-mad from the age of about 10 but didn't buy my first Alfa until I was 18.
Current is count up to 11.

I just have one so nowhere near Alfaholic (yet).
But did see a nice red 147 on the side of the road for a few weeks that hadn't been there before. Drove past one day and the house it was out the front of had the garage door up with another three inside. No other cars on the property, just Alfa's.
