Title: What is this for? 1750 Alfa restoration
Post by: Joppa on September 18, 2020, 09:23:19 AM
It's embarrassing to say, though never-the-less I simply cannot recall what this bracket is for (please see photo)?  I've had it in my mind this was for the clutch cable, though looking back through my photos, prior to disassembling the car, it doesn't appear to be connected to anything (that I can see anyway)?

So any advice will be greatly appreciated, and I'm sure the second it's identified it'll come back to me.

I had to remove this bracket so I could weld in the chassis bracing from Alfaholics.  Now I'm just about to re-make another bracket to weld back in, but for the life of me I just can't even remember what is was for?

Located on the right hand side of the car (pass. side) just beneath where the steering box goes, and viewed from within the engine bay.

Thanks in advance.
