So, my wife and I were watching the news tonite and saw the media beat up of supposed panic buying and empty supermarket shelves left bare.
I said it was utter bull cookies and fake news, she disagreed. So just for a giggle we decided to pop down to Coles just for a look. (We WERE out of ice cream anyway)
As I predicted, every shelf was full, everything was fully stocked . . . . all except one . . . .

Yup, only shelf empty . . . Toilet Paper!
Says a lot about the human species, don't it. ::)
YEP FULL OF SHT !!!!
Must be a city thing. Plenty of loo paper on the shelf at our local Drakes.
But then a lot out here wouldn't know how to wipe their ar$e$ anyway............
Ya'll must be thunkin of them there cuntry folks. ;D
I'll admit to being a bit of a Star Trek fan. Early in the movie The Voyage Home, Kirk is addressing the crew before landing the Klingon Bird of Prey in a park in San Francisco. He warns to crew to be very wary of 1980's America "this is a primitive and paranoid culture". Never a truer word!
We have become even more neurotic and paranoid since Spock mind melded with the Humpbacks!
I must have got this use of dunny paper all wrong. I though you tore off sheets from the roll and attended to the freckle. Apparently now your use the whole roll. One roll per wipe??
