A truly remarkable person who never had the opportunity to achieve his full potential in the world stage of Formula 1.

Many many years ago during my high school years working holidays at a BP garage on Holmes St Brunswick and Alf Costanzo had the garage opposite. I recall him one day coming over to borrow some specific tools and thought he was a really nice guy. Later on watched him race in Formula 5000. Thought he was an amazing driver.

Excellent video, much better than I expected. Will always be known as a nice guy above and beyond his achievements. What's with Malcolm Fraser wearing a driver race suit with the Alfa Romeo badge? What's the story here? See at 28 min & 10 sec.

Saw him race many times here in Vic at Calder,Sandown ... a great driver in my books.

In reply to the previous post....Malcom Fraser & Alfa? He owned  number of classic cars. Had a Lancia Flaminia Zagato at one stage
and also a vintage Alfa, can't recall but was it a 2300? certainly from the 30's.

Cheers,

Paul.
