Client called me the other day, engine started making an odd clacking sound the previous day and wanted me to take a look when he got the car home from work.
Upon listening to the car it was obvious there was something wrong with the Balance Belt Tensioner. Whilst doing the full Cam & Balance belt change it became obvious it wasn't the Tensioner at all, but the belt itself.
As you can see by the photos below, how he managed to get around for two days with the belt half stripped of teeth and almost worn through beggars belief. :o
(For those unaware, Balance Belts are supposed to have teeth all the way around on BOTH sides!)
Definitely time for a lotto ticket! ;)

I think his luck is all used up Bazz. A lotto ticket would be a waste of money....
