Title: Lowering springs
Post by: Damien Smith on September 04, 2019, 09:37:21 PM
Are there any local options for lower springs similar to the Eibach's from Classic Alfa? Shipping a set of springs across the globe costs a bit and I'd prefer to buy within Australia if possible.

Try Vin Sharp (Pace Engineering). Have a set of his fast road springs in my 1750 and transformed the car's handling and slightly lowered the car.

Highly recommend.

Cheers

Thanks Paul. I ended up ordering some Eibach springs from Classic Alfa yesterday afternoon with a bunch of other things I needed.

Springs arrived Monday morning along with various bushes and a set of tie rod ends after ordering on Friday. Impressive service.

I emailed Alfaholics re springs they said their STD are just that Alfa STD and that the springs in their first stage road kit lower the car by 20mm all round but are 30% stiffer

These are the ones I got. 40mm lower and a bit stiffer. Going to have to wait a while to see how the car looks with them fitted though [emoji846]
