G'day everyone. Hope you all had a good Melb Cup day. A nice day off for me but as far as betting goes I had the "luck of the Irish". Someone should have told them it was a 3.2km race not 100m dash!
Anyway the reason for my post is to ask if anyone has any tips or tricks to whiten up the white plastic engine bay containers (engine coolant, brake/clutch reservoirs). As you know they go yellowish and look a bit grotty over time so any tricks(short of buying NOS) to clean them up would be appreciated.

After a good wash in hot water to remove a bit of an oil ring & sludge (previous to a gasket replacement), I used kero foloowed by lots of nifi style product and a bottle brush.
Not 100% but much improved; any better ideas to really brighten it up would be of value.
