does anyone know who can refurbished the micro switch in sydney for 156? thanks

If the key is dead, then its off to the dealer who must order a new one from Italy using your code. Its around $250. However, mine gave trouble because the battery contacts did not make good enougfh contact with the circuit board. I sim ply split the key open (screw under the Alfa emblem) and bent the conct a little.

Or you could buy a 159 and avoid this problem completely.

Nice. BTW: Does the fuel gauge work on your 159?

Hi Doug

Thanks for your reply; its not totally dead yet. the fuel release works fine. i have been advised that this is a common fault with these keys, i have seen one on ebay refurbishing the micro switch in u.k but i cant find him anymore. a 159 hmm hehehe maybe later on i cant upgrade to 159 yet hehehe
