We're not as bad as this are we?

;D Very good; I have no children so today is same old for me. Although I did email my dearest's father to wish him a good day. He'd appreciate that sort of humour on the tee shirt, just replace Alfa with "car" - too many variants.

Fathers day for me was throwing L plates on the Cayman and letting one of my boys drive it :) (The other boy had already driven it on L's when I first got it)

I'd love to see the look on the faces of the drivers behind a porker with L plates.

The faces of those passing us going the other way or waiting at junctions was priceless enough :D

Would been better if he was wearing a baseball cap and had the seat real low.

Did it get sideways?  :o

As an eighteen year old, my "dream burl" would have been in a track-prepped P76, or failing that, an XC Falcon hardtop, or an XY GT, or an HQ Munro.

No it got driven very slowly. In fact I'd say too slowly. 1 particular steep hill start resulted in an ominous rattle.

Once we got home and he'd gone inside, I went back out around the block to ensure all was well. It was of course. NO piston slap or anything. I think he'd just rattled the duel mass flywheel on the bite point while nearly stalling it.....again.

Anyone who knows duel mass will know they can sound like a truck at times. Had the same on my 350Z.

But yes, my mind first went to "OMG IMS BEARING! OMG PISTON SLAP! OMG BOTH??????" but I said nothing.
