Hi, my 1977 Alfetta GTV has grille trims attached with a metal fastener (see photo). I need to take off the trims for re-plating, which will involve cutting off the fasteners. Does anyone know where I could source replacements?
I think Bonno referred to them as "starlocks". You also see them described as "retaining washers" sometimes.
Last time I needed some to re-secure my 147's lower bumper grilles, I used stainless E-clips instead - the OEM washers had rusted too much.
There are several types available thru e-bay such as plastic rivets or mixture pack (just check sizes to match)
