Title: Headlights out of alignment - Alfa 147
Post by: mikz on September 26, 2008, 08:56:31 PM
I have the headlights on one side (low beam) aiming too high. Seemed to happen after a particularly nasty pothole. I have looked into how I can roughly align them again until it goes in for next service but I can't see any adjustment.
Can someone enlighten me please....(no pun intended)  :)

Regards

Mick

I had the same problem.

park the car in front of a wall or garage door.

The hexagonal adjuster closest to the radiator give it a little turn clock wise and it should mover down.
Just make it level with the orther and Bob's you uncle...

Hope that helps

Can you make the same adjustment with a 156?  My headlights are all over the place (one up and one down) and the Alfa dealer wants to charge me $300 to readjust.
