Title: TS Transaxle transplant to 116 Alfetta sedan
Post by: simmi1983 on May 03, 2018, 02:49:52 PM
Hey guys,
I am looking to put a TS transaxle into a 116 Alfetta sedan.
Just wondering if anyone here has done this before and if they have any advice for me?
Just by looking I gather it will be pretty straight forward as the car is already 5 stud. So was gonna just put the tranny on the exsisting dedion (im assuming they have the same mounting setup) and was going to use the Ts brakes and cv shafts.
Just not too sure about:
Tailshaft - same length?
Gear linkage (will use the isostatic off the Ts) just not sure if it will be correct length?
I assume there's no way to get a speedo to work unless I do dash and speedo unit etc?

I think that's all I need to know, but would appreciate if anyone could let me know of any hidden hurdles.

Thanks guys,

Luke
