Title: Timing of new Giulietta series
Post by: RobboBob on April 30, 2018, 12:24:43 PM
Hi there,
I'm enquiring for a mate who is trying to work out his next vehicle.

Does anyone know the expected Australian release of the new 950 Series Giuletta based on the Giulia?

Thanks
Rob

Happy to be corrected by anybody, however I've not seen a single thing from Alfa Romeo themselves committing to build a new derivative of the Giulietta.  Anything I have seen (online) is just speculation by magazines trying to fill space and/or enthusiasts rendering what they want.

Save up for a Stelvio Veloce (I am) :)

I've seen some speculative reports suggesting there will be a Giulia-based hatch released overseas next year, but its predicated on the same sort of vague past promises by AR (circa 2013-15) that they would be launching X number of new models by a given date. Which ended up with the Giulia and Stelvio being at least a couple of years later than the initially reported target dates.

Thanks poohbah and Craig

I can only find reference to planned releases based on shorter Giulia frame with potential announcements on 1 June when Alfa releases its Strategy. That is still spelling a long way off (if at all, based on some reports)
