Title: GTV6 Grand Prix 3.0L
Post by: Calabrese_Uno on April 28, 2018, 10:01:55 PM
Hi all,

Just after any feedback on what a 3.0L block/bottom half might do to the the value of an otherwise original and excellent condition vehicle.

Would this be a negative, positive or neutral impact when selling in the future?

Thanks.

Hi
Not sure of the question, but if you are referring to a matching numbers vehicle, then I suggest that this will have a negative impact if not original, for the reason that there were only 200 ever made.
cheers

So long as you kept the original 2.5 engine probably no impact at all. It'd probably make it easier to sell.

I agree that a bit more power over an unleaded 2.5 is a good idea and just keep the original engine
