Hi one & all,
Can someone shed some light on the choice of wheels available for a 105?
I believe the correct stud pattern is 4 x 108, from a previous thread on the forum.
Now this is also the same pattern for several other European cars such as early model Audi, Saab, Volvo, Citroen , Peugeot and also certain models of Ford...
A few questions - What offset suits / will fit a 105 ? In peoples vast knowledge / experience, will wheels from any of the above cars fit my 105 ??
Thanks Ash
Hi Ash,
Yes thats correct PCD is 4 x 108.
In terms of offset there are many options available depending on what size wheel and tyre you run, and what look your after.
Here are some examples
14 x 7 rim with approx 20 to 24 mm offset ( eg GTA replica, minilite, panasport) gives a nice gaurd filled stance with a 195/60 R14 tyre.
14 x 6 rim with 30 - 33mm offset same tyre or maybe 185/70 or 195/65 for a more standard classic look.
If your going 15 inch then maybe a 29 mm or 30 mm offset on a 15 x 7 with 195/55 tyre.
These are some options based to suit the later model 105 with the taller rear wheel arch like your 1750
with no known clearence issues.
In regards to other rims, seen 15 inch Peugeot 205 GTi mags offset being 30+mm and the hub hole needs to be drilled out. Saab 15 inch steel wheels from a late model 900 look very similar to the original steel 105 rims with similar hub mods.
Can be very confusing, lots of choices, theres a thread on the alfabb below check it out may help.

Ive settled on 15 x 7 GTA replicas with a 195/55 tyre and a 29mm offset for my GT Junior.
Hope this helps
Cheers
