Title: interesting car spotting
Post by: poohbah on January 30, 2018, 03:29:40 PM
Just thought I'd share a couple of interesting cars I spotted while visiting my local Alfa workshop this week.

Behold the spectacular  Lombardi Abarth 850 Grand Prix Coupe! I'd never seen one before. (This is a photo of the actual car that I took myself. Surprised it was even RHD)

And when I was heading off, the mechanics shot by on a test drive in one of these little beauties (Fiat 128 Rally). I didn't have my camera handy, so had to scour the net for a pic to identify what it was. What a glorious racket it made!

Nice!

We had a 128 sedan when I was a kid. Have listed after an 850 and a 128 sedan for years

Yep, I've always been a fan of most 70s Fiats - 128, 124, and 131 especially. Closest I've come to having one was my missus had a Regata 85S in the mid 90s. Loved it, til it died.
