Title: Law enforcement's mission of "Zero" road trauma
Post by: Italian Supermodel on January 24, 2018, 02:32:44 AM
Belatedly read Stephen Corby's revealing article in Wheels magazine recently in a waiting room (mid 2017 I recall).
It highlights once again questions people have of the unique methods this nation's lawmakers and enforces righteously ask us to swallow.
The article included comments from a German road safety expert here at a Forum back in 2010! Dr Ulrich Mellinghoff spoke directly to the relevant politicans attending where he told them in his experiences "there are three methods in reducing road trauma... better licensing, better roads, and safer cars.
The car companies have delivered their end of the bargain but you, as a government, has utterly failed your population when it comes to the other two."

Great expose ,  try to read it.

The first two items may even have (debatably) been worsened since that address.

It's such a shame, opportunities squandered one after another.
