Last weekend, august 30th & 31st, the Dutch Alfa Romeo Owners Club SCARB (http://www.alfaclub.nl) had a fantastic club weekend. On Sunday there were about
1.000 Alfa Romeos on the Paddock.

What a set up !!! It is something for us to aspire to?
Well its good to see the larger European clubs & Alfisti getting together as they have the numbers and geograhic advantage. Still, we can get Como Park Reserve happening as usual but it would be great if more cars were off the road side and "into the park" to really boost our numbers.
And anyone with a good idea or contribution, let me know.
Cheers.
Having been to the Dutch Spettacolo I can verify that it is a fabulous event. The Dutch really love their Alfas (not hard to see why) and the range of models and colours available in Europe that we never had here in Australia is nothing short of amazing.
To see over 70 Giulia Supers and Ti's all gathered in one spot was a sight to behold.
Would definitely recommend that a visit to Dutch Spettacolo be included on your next European tour itinerary.
When I went over there they even allowed a few 'hot' laps of the Assen track which was a whole lot of fun and as a bonus the then president of the Dutch club was an ex-pat Australian who grew up in Melbourne.
Go plan your trip
