I found in my stash a steering box that had a full tapered roller conversion already done to it. The case was cracked so I have used the internals to recondition another box.
I normally charge $500 for a standard box reco (exchange) and around $850 for the full tapered bearing conversion like this. These are smoother and will last longer.
Usual self lubricating lower sector shaft bush etc.
After reconditioning about 30 boxes in recent years and too much else on my plate, I will not be taking orders from now on, so grab it if you need one.
