I was told that the CX7 was originally an Alfa design that was sold to Mazda, don't know how true that is but this looks a bit like the CX7.

This was mentioned on page 6 of the Spring issue last year.  One year ago!

Madza seems to pinch all their "original" ideas from Alfa ( have a look at the interior of a Mazda 6 and Alfa 156). Why would this ba any different.

How do i get a copy of the Cross and Serpent in NSW, my mate is Head Service Mechanic at a Mazda Dealer and reckons that there is no way thats true.

Sorry, bit of confusion.  Was only referring to the fact that it was mentioned in C&S that Alfa would produce an SUV.  No mention was made of Mazda.  I think I was probably typing my reply while you posted yours, so didn't see it.

Since the Industrial Revolution, the Japanese have constantly taken ideas from other places and refined them.

I knew it was ringing bells, but did a search on here and came up with squat......C+S explains it!
