Title: Research on a GT Junior 1600
Post by: guacamole on April 02, 2017, 03:18:51 PM
Hi all,

I'm doing some research on a GT Junior to determine if I should make an offer or not.

Here's the link on the listing on Gumtree: www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/mildura-centre/cars-vans-utes/alfa-romeo-gt-1600-junior-1974/1143142796

Here is what I currently know:

VIN - AR2206555
Compliance date: 02/74
Currently located in Mildura, Vic.
I'm told the car used to do some historic racing many years ago and has been in storage for a while, taken out recently for road use.

Would anyone on here know of this car? Any other places I should look to to try find out more?

Cheers,
Sean

Sean, the 1600 Junior is the least valuable of all the 105 coupes. The photos in this add are terrible and the price is high.

It is impossible to assess the condition of this car from the information provided. 105 Coupes are complicated cars and the condition of the sills and to a lesser extant the floors is critical. A personal inspection before purchase is a must.

Over to you, I cant get excited.

Regards
John
