Some people unfortunately cut back on servicing to save money.  In some instances, this may damage the car and down the line you buy a car and it turns out needing work.  It's a dilema that will not go away as  service costs then translate to repair costs.

The benefits of joining the club is you get in contact with our sponsors and on a club night, you can actually meet a few of them and talk to them about your car.

Join up (you haven't already) and check out our sponsors page. We have a few Alfa Dealers and additionally some Alfa service specialists.  This will save you money !  Make a few calls and see how you go. I do not know the are you live in so I can not recommed a local place to go.

You must keep the right oil levels (to correct specifications) or you get engine damage.  This will be a knocking noise.  Also damages the oil pump.  If it's not heard or fixed, it damages the cams and conrods prematurely damaging the engine.

Cheers.
