Title: Alfa 159 Selespeed Centre Console
Post by: yvesklein on November 18, 2016, 11:42:22 AM
Excited to be part of this forum. Finally!

I have a 2.2 ti model sedan and noticed that some of the interior instrumentation and fittings are covered in a sticky black gunk that is coming off.

Everything, air vents, door locks and particualrly the black surround around the joystick is looking a bit tired.
Any thoughts on how I can remove the black stuff or rejuvenate these items?

Steve

Orange Oil Goo Remover works great on this stuff and doesn't require a repaint afterwards like Daves's method. Also you can buy it from Coles and Woolies! Just finish the plastic off with Aerospace 303 protectant or Bowdens Own Vinyl Revival when you're done.
