Title: Unknown front bumper
Post by: mickl on October 13, 2016, 09:22:45 PM
Cleaning out the shed and found a front bumper of unknown origin. Can anyone help?
The one with overriders is from my old Berlina but what is the other? It has 4 factory holes in the front edge and two on top. There may have been overriders at some time?? Could it be alfetta?

I think the one on the right is a rear 1974 alfetta
the on the left looks like a falcon

The one on the right came off my old Berlina 2000
I can't identify the left one, but it would have been some sort of Alfa, and is definitely a front.
Thanks for replying. Cheers, Mick

They both look like Alfetta 1.8 sedan 1974-1976 model bumper bars.
Berlina did not come with those black over-rider rubbers.
Berlina rear bar is one piece,,and not 3 piece.

Maybe show us a picture of the bars mounting brackets to confirm,

Thanks for that, all the photos of Berlinas confirm the rear bumper comment. My old Berlina did have over riders but I think they had rubber strip over chromed or stainless piece. The brackets were different too. So 74/8 alfetta could be right.
There are no fittings on the front bar although it has had over riders earlier. Probably alfetta too then to match the rear. Can't remember how I came by them but if anyone wants them they are give away but you would need to pick up near Newcastle NSW
Thanks again, Mickl
