Title: 105 GT rear screen demister fix.

Hi All,  Has anyone found a way to fix or replace a non working rear demister circuit attached to the rear glass. There was a time when it was possible to get a generic after market stick on type  but not sure if such a thing is available these days.  Any ideas?...............Thanks      Ian.

I've got the same problem on my road car, best I could find was the repair paint, but that is only useful if there is just a small break in the circuit, mine was too far gone for that

 Hi Colin, thanks for the tip. on close inspection, mine wasn't much better than yours however, I found the stick on variety universal kit on ebay, readily available for $70.....free post. there are also other kits for the more common cars that could be made to fit. Best to do that job with the window out of the car!  Thanks,......Cheers        Ian.

Yes Neil, I just Google up  Rear Window Demister and a page full comes up. Most are for the touch up with brush contact paint but the full window stick on, is headed under Universal rear window demister on the same page. Also found Rare Spares and Ringwood Auto Spares both stock a Stick on version to suit old Toranas etc.  I wouldnt be surprised to find that these things could be got at Autobarn and Supercheap. Its just that I didnt bother to check before I made my enquiry on this site.It seems some blokes even use these things on the front screen as well for racing. Saving stress on the blower fan motor.. Keep that in mind for the Targa T. Colin. Good Luck Neil.............

Yep, I am going to use it in my race car.  On the front screen.

 Yes Neil, That was the item I was referring to. There may be other suppliers,.I see reference to A/C , Radio, In dash everything fitters, Dash Cams, Reverse Cams. Blinding light systems, 4x4 specialists and no doubt many other shopfronts that have this stuff dangling  on hooks in store.You always find these things when your not looking for them!............Cheers....
