Post by: Alfamania on August 19, 2016, 03:56:20 PM
Hi all, just wondering if anyone knew some sort of a figure as to how many Alfa 75 Potenziatas were sold or currently registered in Aus or Victoria?

A long time ago someone come out with numbers for the older Alfa's in Australia. I only really remember the 3lt being about 330 not including private imports. I'm not sure if that included the Pot' or not. I'm not sure where that thread even was...

Someone said a few years ago that there were possibly 30 Potenziatas amongst the 3 litre cars and going by the number I know still exist, including the two I had, I reckon that is pretty close. Contrary to popular belief, the Potenziata was not simply a 3 litre with a stock 164 engine in it. It is in fact the same engine as the 164Q and the SZ. All of the normal 3 litre cars had L-Jet EFI and only the Potenziata had a Motronic system.
