Title: 75TS tank pickup issue?
Post by: Divano Veloce on June 06, 2016, 12:50:40 PM
I typically only get 30 litres out of a fill before surge/starvation potentially leaves me stranded.... The low fuel warning light is useful only in that it tells me why my car has stopped.

Is this normal for a 75TS? Its annoying as I'm refuelling more often and carry fuel that cannot be used. (49L tank?)

Have you checked the in tank pump for operation?  ???

You should get 40L. I know the tank is 49L but you can run the car dry and you will only be able to get 40L in there.

Given the frugality of the motor you still get over 500km's to a tank.

Late reply, but I've been into the 75TS fuel tank recently.   I found the wires to the in tank pump broken/not connected.   This caused slow starting and weak running problems.   Pickup could have moved in yours, or pump not working also.   You can get access via the plate behind right rear axle, pickup, wires and pump are mounted on this plate.
