Title: Old Alfa sightings, on the same day!
Post by: LukeC on June 01, 2016, 08:19:32 PM
Riding to work today, I saw a clean looking first series silver 1.8 Alfetta sedan. Now when was the last time I saw one of them on the road...

Riding back home: within 100 m of the sighting this morning, an early Alfasud TI of about the same vintage. And I can't remember the last time I saw a 1.2 on the road.

What will I see tomorrow?

That is awesome. The only Alfas I see are 147's and the occasional 156/159. I remember seeing a GTV6 a few months ago on Bell Street. The only one I've seen on the road apart from the ones on club drive days haha.

Maybe you will see a Montreal tomorrow?! Now that would be an epic sight.

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure that one was the one I saw. However it was at night and wasn't raining.

I reckon it would be the same one though as there aren't many around!

Was the Sud a light brown one? If so, I've seen it a few times....lives in Macgregor I think.

i saw that one too a couple of weeks ago. As well as a white 1300 Super parked on Moreland road a few months ago.

And last week drove side by side a 105GTV on Springvale Rd on the way to work.

None of these will ever beat the bright yellow Lancia Appia Zagato I saw driving towards me on Heidelberg Road a few years ago.

Saw a white 2000 GTV in rosebud this weekend, look very nice and original. Anyone from the club who owns it?

Andrew.
