Title: Ignition Switch Wiring
Post by: avi81n on May 29, 2016, 08:52:33 AM
Does anyone know if the Start position (ie cranking) of the ignition barrel still allows the Acc circuits to be powered or does it isolate them for protection?

As far as I know it's a pretty basic setup in the 105. Off then ignition  then ignition + start. There is no separate "accessories" vs "ignition" and you need ignition on during cranking! The only exception may be very late model spiders?

Thanks Colin. Poorly worded question (I am installing an ACC relay!) but I think you have given me the answer I need anyway! I am looking to run an electric fuel pump with a Low Oil Pressure cutout but always powered during the cranking sequence. Thanks.
