Post by: goodallallan on March 30, 2016, 11:43:50 AM
Stolen GTV 2.0l, red '83 plastic bumper model, last night from my house. Please keep an eye out for it - club plates 03421H. Allan Goodall.

Sorry to hear that Allan. Have you got a photo? I also have a Red, 83 GTV and so I notice other ones. I did see one on the back of a truck on the western freeway this morning, heading towards Melbourne. I would assume if it was yours it would be heading the other way... This one looked very stock. Did yours have cool wheels or other differentiating marks? Julian

Just heard from police - they found it in Dandenong, undamaged. Collecting it later today, hopefully all the internals will be OK.

That's good news! Hopefully all the internals are undamaged too. I suspect second gear will be little more worn though...

That's good news indeed Allan. It sounds like a happy ending to a sad story.

PS Maybe the knucklehead left it when he looked through the rear wheels and thought he'd stolen a car with no rear brakes... ::)

Great to hear Allan. Look forward to hearing a report once you've picked it up and had a chance to check it over.
