Title: To reclutch or not to reclutch
Post by: The Count on February 16, 2016, 05:48:33 PM
Our 1999 twinspark 2.0 spider has developed a gearbox oil leak. Looks like it will be a minimum replacement of seals/gaskets. Is it worth getting a new clutch kit fitted while it is stripped down? Has just over 100,000 kms on the clock.

Any time the engine and or gearbox is out, it is always worth replacing the clutch and while its apart a new rear crank seal is a good move as well, Colin.
