Hello Spider owners. I have a 1984 series 3 Spider which has a cracked dash. It must have been changed when the car was converted to RHD after import from the US in 1990, so it is 26 years old. I live in Perth and I can't find anyone here who can recover it. I have considered sending the whole dash to the Dashboard Doctor in Melbourne but it works out to be quite expensive including transport. I note that you can buy leather dash covers from the UK via ebay which need to be stretched over the dash and glued then trimmed.
Has anyone tried one of these?
