Title: Heated seats
Post by: giovannidc on October 12, 2015, 10:59:07 AM
Hi guys,
i haven't found much with the search so i am going to ask.
It appears that my seats have got no heated seats but i would like to see if i can get them working.
Do you need entirely new seats or they have already got what it takes to make them nice and warm?

cars with the heated seats have heating coils in the seat pads, plus controls and wiring. The easiest way will be to change the seats over. Even then, you'd need to make sure the car is wired for it. You haven't said what car you have. There are some threads on alfaowner of people who've tried add to add heated seats to their alfas

to be honest, I'm not a big fan of them. My wife tends to leave them on in the 159 and when I get in, I get an uncomfortable sensation after a few mins and quickly turn them off.
