Title: good upholster
Post by: alfagtv85 on August 16, 2015, 06:24:44 PM
Would anyone know of a good upholster in the northern subs of Melbourne, need to reupholster from two seats and repair or reupholster the rear seats.

Tried one place (A grade Upholstery) sent email and photos of the seats and have so far received no reply.

Try new club sponsor, New Life Repair Services Vermont, the Alfa Car Club are having a workshop visit there on Saturday 12th September, come along and have a look and ask a few questions, as for the Northern side, i don't know any, Colin.

I've had good work done by Ray Bray, he's just moved up to Heidelberg West.

Tim from Sewfine did my Recaro's to a very high standard! He even touched up a minor issue for us without question [very fussy dad ;) ].

I only have blurred after pictures sorry [I'm at work]... But they are better than any job we've ever had done before [been to several trimmers for several cars] and worth the 2~3hr each way to drop them off, Cranbourne. To top it off, it cost no more than any other quote I got without the need for haggling.

Hi all

Following up this post with a similar question ...Does anyone know a source of the original velvet materials that the 79/80 GTVS have. I have the honey coloured velvet, rear seat "may" clean up ..front seat are toast..door trims very average..
