I am looking for 1 x 14x5.5, 4/98pcd "Cromadora 45" "turbina" alloy wheel to replace a buckled one on my Alfetta GTV 2000 please.
I can take care of interstate movement to Perth if required.

whoops! ::)
Actually the buckled rim was discovered quite by accident, but a good lesson nonetheless when buying used cars -
As some will know i recently purchased a 1980 Alfetta GTV2000. The tyres fitted to the Campanturo alloys had "plenty of tread" left but of course i knew they weren't "new".
Recently, I discovered there was something trapped in the bead of the left front tyre so took it to fellow AROCA WA member - Mark Pearson of Bayswater Tyres to check it out.
We removed the wheel and found a plastic valve cap embedded in the bead. It had been there for a while as the bead had a permanent "dent" left from it.
With the wheel off we looked at all the tyres and estimated them to be approx 17 years old and VERY hard, so decided to fit a new set of cheap silica road tyres for safety reasons if nothing else.
On balancing the left rear wheel, we then noticed the centre hole had been repaired but was eliptical rather than circular thus couldnt secure correctly on the balancing machine. Thus we elected to fit the spare, however discovered this one was quite buckled hence the need now for a replacement wheel.
Oh yeah, the spare wheel tyre was original and 27 years old!!!!!
Of course, all 5 tyres had "plenty of tread" left but were stuffed. The difference after fitting just an "cheapo" set of new silica tyres - amazing! and now i can be confident in the tyres on the car.
the lesson - I was always going to replace them (but was waiting to save up for a new set of wheels first).
It is easy to think that just cause the tyres have some tread they are okay BUT, this is usually indeed the opposite case and it is well worth considering a cheap new set instead.
Are they the same off a 79 model alfetta gtv?
yep,
any 4x98 pcd car - Sud, Sprint, 33, Alfetta 76-80, Giulietta.
are they the standard rims if so how many do you want as i have heaps
No, definitely not standard steel rim. They were a factory fitted optional alloy - see pic
Are they hard to get?
seem to be hard to get to fit a 105 stud pattern so will see. If too hard, i will probably secure a steel rim locally as a spare as i dont have one right now.
Then i will look for a set of 15" x 6" alloys and fit "R" spec tyres which was always the plan.
Ed,
Ive got a set of alloys you can borrow to get you by if you want. There 15 inch with tyres. I dont have any plans to use them in the near future so you can use them until you find some if you like.

Thanks,
i only need the one (or maybe 2) and will try to source locally (Perth) first as my minimum cartage cost MEL to PER is $60.00
How much do you want for 2 or all 4? if they have tyres on them, i would get those removed before shipping to reduce cost.
cheers
