.
is there kit for 116 giuliettas anywhere ??
or what bumpers of other alfas fit str8 on ?
There's basically nothing...which is why i made and molded this kit up myself. can't help you with the side skirts, but the front and rear bars should be easy enough. You just need a fibre glass bar from a car of the same era. So mine would probably fit as would the alfetta gtv Zender Kit or the Grandpre kit. Otherwise something from a toyota, etc(early 80's)would be similar width...but regardless, you'd need to do a little mofifying, but deffinatly do-able.
i was going to try a alfa 90 front bumper but no
i heard that alfa 75 evo fronts go on with a lil bit of cutting but i cant get an evo front.
Er um, know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and apart from the fact that I have absolutely no issues with personalising ones car.
My simple question is why ? Do Alfa's really need such body enhancements or is this something that should be best left to the duff duff brigade with their dull Kia's, Nismo godzillas and over rated WRXs, with mesh front and back, sewer pipe exhausts and woosh doosh waste gate valves and checker plate floors. Personally I don't get it. Sorry
all i need is a front bumper coz i had the 2.0ltr bumper and that got smashed now i got a shitty 1.8ltr bumper
I agree with the 'why?' if the body kit dosn't do anything. I feel most are over the top along with the chrome everything...if your gonna have vents, ducts and openings, they gotta do something, whether it's for cooling or down force, and especially all those big wings! Most of the ones you see around the street seem to rattle at low speed let alone high!
Maybe i should put flames down the side of my car, with some christmas tree lights underneth....oh and some fluffy dice!!! :P hehehe, or maybe not...

There will be plenty of bumpers around for these. Have you tried the parts specialists/advertisers where you are, or failing that interstate?
Put up a post in Buy/Swap/Sell of this forum, in fact I'm surprised people aren't paying you to take away parts for these cars.

Don't apologise. I'm not sure that you're supposed to get it, and that's probably just the way they like it.
I don't get into that scene myself either, but I actually really love the fact that some kids are getting into Alfas. I don't like what they do to their cars, but so what? It's not my car, and let's be honest here, they're only doing it to cars which 'enthusiasts' like yourself wouldn't touch anyway - Guiliettas, 33s, Sprints, 90s......Those Alfas in the no-mans-land between useful modern car and classic car.
It would be very easy for them to get into a Japanese car, after all that's probably what all their mates drive. Being an Alfa fan amongst the modern boy racers is probably tantamount to being a poofter in the 70s.
I'd rather see an Alfa being used, no matter how bad the modifications are, than see it rust away in a paddock because it's not 'classic' enough.
I may have got us off topic here......
I've probably got front and rear bumper from a '77 Alfetta under the house somewhere. Cannot remember the condition, but you are welcome to them if you want them.
to suit this Giulietta

this is when it had the 2.0 bumper now it has a much shorter 1.8 that is cracked and it shows all the sump and under the motor and shit..
and no my car isnt over the top like greengtv8 is going on about it has no neons and all this shit. all i want is a nice and better looking front bumper.
Sorry if i offended, was more refering to the Jap cars etc. May also pay to keep an eye out at your local pick a part...once in a while i hear of some unusual alfa stuff being found there for real cheap. Have you looked into alfetta sed bumpers? They'd be similar size...
i was at the local pick-a-part the other day, there was an 84 guilietta there. i got a set of 10548 cams, a top timing chain, 8 valve bucket things with shims, the good square air box and various trim bits and pieces for $80!
every now and then a sportiva spoiler pops up on ebay, surely they would fit a guilietta? i've got one which i have to get around to getting sprayed for my car. you will have to use your imagination a bit.
Hey likewise
I certainly wouldn't wish to offend anyone either, and I do apologise if I did, since as a now listed member of Scuderia Non Originale (Alfabb), I really have no issue with personalising one's car, and Sheldon I most certainly agree with your views re rather seeing young or old in Alfa's in preference to the whitegood's on the bling wheels brigade. More power to this, even if it means we are all "gay" in our thinking. From my perspective, all of us enthusiasts, whatever model Alfa, or what ever Italian car we drive are the lucky ones. We show individuality and a sense of true style.
In fact I couldn't agree more with GreenGTV8's comments re the pointlessness of wings, spoilers, mesh grills and huge exhaust outlets or even blue neon lights under the car, which don't actually do anything. I reckon the guys getting around with WRX bonnet scoops which are simply attached to the bonnet, stick on racing fuel filler caps, and chrome mags etc are the ones who really need to be pittied.
Where enhancements to one's car actually improves its power, handling, and fun factor, than who could really argue with this.

MY wing is off a alfa 33 so its not going to the extreme. no neons. and my scoop is of a nissan, toyota or holden 4wd and it isnt just stuck on it has a whole cut so it lets air into the trumpets. alfa romeo fuel filter cap. stock alfa romeo 14inch chorme mags.. am i the 1 that needs 2 be pitted ??
I wouldn't think so...your using alfa bits and the scoop doing something. All in all your car looks to be a neat little thing! And hopefully you have a blast everytime you drive it!
End of the day, i know quiet a few alfa owners that would debate if mines over the top. Answer...maybe, heck, the only thing alfa about it is 'most' of the shell, granted i made it for the track, but it still goes on the road from time to time, and without fail, it ALWAYS puts a smile on my face!!!
No mate, your car has a purpose, to eat other cars on the track and scare those off it when on the road!! Whereas I am not so sure that could be said for all those Hyundais etc
without trying to re-ignite the age old debate here, found this on the alfabb and thought it was interesting and somewhat relevant. apparently you were right storm, 75 bumpers do bolt on ok. evo bumpers would be rare i imagine, but TS or 2.5's would be fairly abundant?
