Title: Snouts in the Trough
Post by: Paul Gulliver on June 01, 2015, 04:47:45 PM
Amusing to read to see that the corporate cowboy style of the 1980's allegedly lives on in Fiat Chrysler Australia.

Interesting read in this mornings The Age business section. Fiat Chrysler  is suing their ex MD.

In essence, allegedly  a Marketing company " My Alfa Romeo" set up by ex Fiat Chrysler Aust MD's wife, Mrs Simone Campbell and a few associates to provide marketing assistance to Fiat Chrysler Aust .

Then I quote " It is alleged " My Alfa Romeo"  was paid $500,000 by Fiat Chrysler to provide "a mobile outdoor floating billboard" for the company, and it is alleged that instead, Mr Campbell allegedly used the money towards the purchase of a 40 foot Chris Craft boat valued at more that $400,000.

Any members manage to sight this " floating billboard" . Or even manage a fishing trip or champagne & a few canapés.

Sorry about all the alleged & allegedly but you never know knows reading.

I have been too scared to put any reference to this up on the forum, but reading the AGE for the last week has been absolutely riveting, finding out that this sort of thing still goes on.
As usual, the Authorities were asleep at the wheel, but Fiat Chrysler has sent the Auditers out from Detroit to look over the books.
Doesn't anyway detract from their excellent line of cars, Colin.
