Wow, when you say done, was this a recent restoration?
Nice job, love the simple early lines. Also, love how some gear knobs go orange, others white! Vintage MOMO steering wheel is a beauty.
Yep, good one. Envious. I have one, a GT, to do once I win tatts.
Just a question out there in regards to the MOMO steering wheel.
I have a dilemma. My car has the original steering wheel, can't remember what the style is called, it is the big diameter one, and thin. Though it is original and keeps originality, I do like the MOMO or a Sparco sports steering wheel like a race car. So do I keep original or go with modifying. Your comments. I am guessing "to each his own".
Oh, as you all have gathered, early GT's and GTV's are now rare. I just tried looking for parts and not much about.
Oooops, just hijacked the post, sorry.
Nice resto, anyway.
How beautiful, the paint the carellos, the,,,, well all of it.
One day my GT will hopefully look as good as this fine example of a GTV
any pics of the engine bay?
Gorgeous condition! :)

gutted ... italian electrons everywhere
many more photos, however even after compression most exceed 1MB :(
Stunning Kartone!!!! Brings back memories, and a tear to my eye. I owned mine (Ivory/grey velour '79 model) 14 happy years and still turned to look at it when parked, up to the day I sold it. Even my GTV6 never had quite the same effect.
Have you rustproofed the A-pillars (I see some plastic plugs inside)? If not, do it.
Greta work, and thank you immensely for sharing the pics.
Neil: go the momo wheel, you can always change back.
Lovely resto, well done!
checked all crevices with a snake camera, including A pillars, no surface rust whatsoever.
following posts document all rust repairs required.

Kartone, did you use any rust panels on the resto, say from 'wolf panels' or was it just shaped new steel?
Luv seeing this type of work, really need to get onto my GT soon. How did you go for rust around the A piller, read someone mentioned oiling/rust proofing the area. I've got a bad section tucked away under the front fender, behind the internal side vent. Dreading having to remove the fender to repair it.
PS, not sure what OS system you're on, but I find MS office picture viewer has a one click image resizer which makes it very simple to resize images for the forum. I copy any images over to a new folder which I keep for forum photos (so as to not change the original photo), then in the editing options the resizer has a drop down menu which gives you an option to resize for the web (about 640x480 in size, which is the large option). Much easier than guessing the % reduction and you can then add a few images per post.
CJ: Shaped metal (still have all the bits removed, will post); as for the bottom of the A pillar no rust whatsoever (car garaged at home & work, all drains kept clean of debris)
Kartone, did you have the screen out?
Front and rear!
