Title: 2004 156 sillyspeed wheels - wanting
Post by: Annabella on March 15, 2015, 12:19:57 AM
Hi all!

Long story short, i drove through a pot hole and my car is vibrating now when i drive. Tyres look ok but rims are buckled. I only have around $700.00 to buy a new set of rims.

I am in melbourne cbd and not sure where to look 1st alfa essendon quoted me $1400 originals but too much $$$

Can anyone recommend any brands, places or people i can seek in finding wheels for less than $800..00? Must be 17inch.

Thanks guys :)

Try a wrecker who may have a 2004 156 they are parting out, try Monza Motors in Bayswater, as you are in Melbourne.
I f you can't find any good second hand wheels you can always get them repaired at a place in Heidleburg in Melbourne called Neway, they have repaired some of my wheels and are good, Colin.

Plenty on ebay.    Nice Momo ones here.....  http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Alfa-Romeo-Momo-GT-215-45-17-rims-/161626495174?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item25a1b098c6

Gumtree will probably have some too.
