Title: 147 GTA wheels on a gtv6
Post by: SteveGTV6 on March 13, 2015, 11:38:20 AM
Hey guys just curious to know, I have a chance of purchasing 147 GTA wheels 17" and just wondering if the wheel fit on the gtv6 I believe the offset is 35mm, what is the offset on the gtv6 and what would you recommend?

I run 17" x 8" OZ Racing rims with et35 and 225/45 rubber with a little scrubbing (and I had to do some guard work initially) on the front at extremes of turning but they look great. No scrubbing on the back - perfect fit. Some say 17" rims messes with the geometry and scrub radius (whatever that is) but mine doesn't go on the track so not looking to squeeze out every last ounce of performance...

They should fit.

I use GTA rims. I also run 235/45 tyres. Plenty of clearance with slight modification of the cutting wheel variety.

Oh good, I'll see how they fit and if the guards need rolling or any slight mods I'll make the adjustments, not looking at tracking the car but didn't want to cause issues further down the track
