Post by: cc on February 26, 2015, 01:01:49 AM
Hi
Ive replaced the t belt on my 2002 156 V6 2.5L. Running well.
Am onthe final do ups..
Can someone recommend the brand/type of  pliers to re clamp the clic clamps sealing the rubber seals/connectors on the inlet pipes.

Hi CC,

After a bit of practice, I've had no problems doing them back up with a set of plain square jaw pliers.
You have to hold the pliers vertical to the clips and they should go straight on.

This is on both a 916 TS GTV and a '91 164.

Can be a bit fiddly getting the pliers straight on, depending on location of clip and how much other stuff is in the way.

Cheers
Steve
