Title: ecu flash or chip for '07 GT v6
Post by: zippytheclown on January 18, 2015, 08:36:10 PM
Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody could give me some advice or guidance on getting my V6 GT chipped or having the ecu flashed? Or would I be better off getting an aftermarket ecu?  The car is stock at the moment, but I'll be looking at some suspension mods later on and possibly some engine mods.

Has anybody had the ecu altered on one of these? and how much power increase do you think I could expect?

Also, any advice on who could do the work up here in brisbane?

Thanks in advance

Very difficult to find a local to do it. But search around and someone may help you. You can try automoda in Nsw. I personally would put cf2 front pipes and have the car flashed. Suspension wise check out alfastumper in Denmark who supply all sorts of performance parts for the GT. However, before doing any of this work make sure you got a Q2 diff. This would be the first mod to do if it hasn't. Also a metal undertray would be good for a low car like the GT.

Thanks ANG, I already plan on the q2 mod, got a couple of other little service items to fix first.
